Best Of: Internet Explorer Addons

Published on March 27, 2007 in Browsers, Software

One of the primary reason why Mozilla Firefox has grown in popularity is the extensibility it provides through the means of add-ons (extensions). With Internet Explorer 7 (IE7), Microsoft has provided the ability to create and use IE specific add-ons to enhance the browser’s functionality. Unlike almost all of Firefox’s add-ons, many IE7 add-ons, though, are not free. That being said, there are numerous free IE7 add-ons that can increase productivity and make the IE7 browsing experience more pleasurable. The best of these IE7 add-ons are listed below while additional add-ons can be found at the Windows Marketplace. (Note: If you are a Firefox user you will notice that many of these add-ons are also available for Firefox.)

    hello,
i was able to instal a delicious toolbar/button that cotnains a “tag” button with a sharp triangle top instead of the flat top “tag” button that comes from delicios site.
the tag button is very fast unlike the one that comes from delicious. the normal one from delicious would take several seconds to load.

if you know where this add-on came from please let me know via email because i want to install it to other computers.
    thanks.

FireShot is an extension for Internet Explorer that creates screenshots of webpages. This plugin provides a set of editing and annotation tools, which let users quickly modify captures and insert text and graphical annotations. This functionality will be especially useful for web designers, testers and content reviewers. Screenshots can be uploaded, saved to disk, copied to clipboard, e-mailed and sent to external editor for further processing
